TIH: Chantel, thanks for agreeing to be interviewed by Black Lines - Salisbury! Tell us about your business.

Chantel: Off Grid In Color is a farm and homestead sanctuary for health and wellness. Our mission is to lead others to greater self-sufficiency through farm raised food, birth coaching, and community outreach.


TIH: We understand that you’re from Chicago, IL. So, what brought you to the Salisbury NC/Rowan County area.

Chantel: I moved to Rowan county to explore land opportunities for farming and developing an agri-wellness center to include counseling and birth education.


TIH: Tell us more, what type of services and products do you provide?

Chantel: Off Grid In Color offers a wide array of products and services!

TIH: Black lines is an advocate of uniting and empowering the black community. What do you believe is the best way to accomplish this with our local community?

Chantel: The best way to create a uniting and empowering black community is through intentional relationship building ofa village where everyone feels valued and believe they have an important role in sustaining the village.


TIH: Is there anything else you would like our readers to know about you or your business?

Chantel: There is always something happening at the farm and homestead and we love having people come out to get involved and support.
