"Sugar & Grits"

Maaannnnnnn Listen........Ya'll wouldn't believe it if I told you but I'mma Say It Anyway........

I used to think that I had a sign on my forehead that said, "Holla at me if you are crazy or insecure." (HaHaHa)  For real though, I should have been a psychiatrist/counselor or self-love coach for each one of them and did that for a few who actually humbled themselves and listened.  Some people you just can't help though.......as the saying goes....."You can lead a horse to the water, but you can't make them drink."  That was the case for the one I call "Sugar & Grits."

"Sugar & Grits" would get aggravated & throw temper tantrums when I would tell him to get out of my house.  Seriously, he would fall out in the middle of the floor!  Then, on top of that, he would destroy everything in site!  Why was he doing this, you ask?  Because I caught him cheating and wanted him out!  "Sugar & Grits" must have thought that I would tolerate it (for whatever reason) but was he ever so wrong!  "Sugar & Grits" was a sweet person but just like a pot of grits, when he started boiling, he didn't know how to put a lid on it and turn it down.

My dear Queens:

Pay attention to the red flags!  Love may be blind but don't ignore the obvious because it can mean life or death!  These types of individuals will find some way to make you feel as if you are all they have and will even possibly hurt themselves to make you have enough sympathy for them not to leave or make them move on.  Some people you can work with, but there are definitely those that need real professional help!  Remove yourself from toxic situations and take care of yourself First because You are all you have at the end of the day!
